Kauai's
ONLY Monolithic Dome on a 3 bedroom 4 bath estate where the
Na Pali meets the Waimea River.
If you are looking for
peace and quiet, this property offers
a cloud like atmosphere, real Hawaii 'ana, and it is as
laid back and small town as it gets. Here
in the country (also known as “Smoky
Valley”) the local outdoors men still hunt wild boar, and
the gentle sound of the Waimea river rolling
by will lull you to sleep on the lanai.
We are located just a few short miles from the base
of the Waimea Canyon, also known as; 'The Grand Canyon
of the pacific" with it's ever changing hues and colors.
The relaxing nature of the Dome's structure
results from an unobstructed energy flow, and is the most relaxing
living experience you can imagine. One lanai overlooks the 1
acre organic farm where you eat when you want... just go out side
and pick what ever you want from the source. The other
lanai rings with gentle chimes and sounds from The Menehune Ditch
as it passes through the hollow Lava cliff.
The tranquility
of this valley radiates from the cliffs and the river
and you can almost hear echoes of voices from times gone by. Looking
out from the guest suites you will see caves in the vaulted lava
cliffs where the Hawaiian Na Ali'i (Royalty) are said to be buried.
The bones of the Ali'i that rest there are believed by Hawaiians
to possess much power or Mana.
There are many
activities you can do nearby such as hiking, biking, kayaking, surfing,
tennis, fishing, ATV, Golf, Baseball, Basketball,
just to name a few. You can even go camping in the back farm on
the river!
We are close
to the most beautiful beaches on Kauai ....Barking
Sands and Polihale State Park, and you cannot beat the sunsets in
the West. Only a few miles further up the road you will experience
a birds eye view of the world famous Napali Coast from Koke'e National
Park.
A few miles in the opposite
direction brings you to the ruins of an old Russian Fort built when
an unsuccessful attempt was made by the Russians to take control
of Hawaii. And in the middle of Waimea town you will see the site
and the beach where Captain Cook landed and became, the first westerner
to visit the Hawaiian Islands.
